What a great day to have a baby! Congrats to my little sister, Hillary!!
She woke up with contractions at 2:30am, dropped Tag off at her SIL's house at 3:45, made it to the hospital by 4...she was asked if she wanted an epidural right when the Dr walked in, checked her and said, "Well, you're dialted to a 9, wanna try pushing through it?" AAAAAAA She is my HERO! She gave birth to the cutest baby boy, Carson Craig at 4:21am - 5lbs 12oz - 21" - perfectly healthy! WITH NO DRUGS! She is feeling TERRIFIC and says that the recovery w/o the epidural is a piece of cake! I think I'd really really like to try it!
I came home from holding this cute little guy at the hospital and realized how big my little Lyndee is getting. I need to take the next few weeks and gobble her up. I know how things can change when you bring a new baby home.

Sunday Night Dinner

We had the Smith Family come over for dinner on Sunday. Rick had everyone make their own home-made pizza. It was a lot of fun! Afterwards, the kids piled up on Bryton to see his push up skills.

And it starts...

Mykee's dance class has started. It started with a BANG. Monday was "orientation" day - all 26 little girls came. They danced upstairs for an hour and a half while my carpets were being cleaned. Loud. Overwhelming. Chaos. FUN!! If your daughter isn't in it...email Mykee!

This is the "middle group".

ARE YOU KIDDING ME??

CHECK out the HOT PINK and SPARKLY new cast!!

Dylin was on the monkey bars at Gramma's house tonight.
After going across the WHOLE way for the 5th time, she wore out.
Her right hand slipped off the bar. She feel five feet and landed on her left hand and bottom.
A quick trip to Urgent Care and we have a BROKEN ARM!!
Can I just say "deja vu"??? Two months before I was due with Lyndee, Dylin broke her leg!! This time - it's her are and three months before I'm due.

Pink Eye or Hookie???

Bryton woke up with Pink Eye yesterday morning. After spending 1 1/2 hours at the Dr's office, he was told not to go to school for a couple of days. I hate that he is missing 2 days the first 2 weeks of High School! But his teachers have been very supportive and have all sent his homework to him.
Pink Eye doesn't make you feel like you can't do anything - I mean, no headache...not throwing up...he feels fine! He just has gook in his eye! So what do you do when you are home from school, feeling fine? You take your sisters swimming! I love this kid! He brought the slide into the pool area and has made Dylin his new bestest buddie!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYTON!!

I love you - Bryton!

Bryton turns 15 today! Holy CRAP! Where did the last 15 years go?? This kid is amazing! I love him for so many reasons! Here are just 15:
1. He is thoughtful of others.
2. He tries his best to get good grades in school - he's taking AP courses and Honor's courses this year - his first year in high school.
3. He is committed to his Freshmen Football team. I watch them practice and MAN does it look hard! You couldn't get me to play ball in this sweaty heat!
4. He is a team player and always shows good sportsmanship.
5. He is a wonderful big brother - even though sometimes he doesn't know when to stop teasing!
6. He has beautiful blue eyes...and long eye lashes (that he once cut when he was little because they were commented on too much)
7. He loves weight training... you should see his new "guns" :)
8. He is trying really hard to get his Eagle - and is very close. He'll have it before he turns 16.
9. He is always ready for church on time. I don't have to wake him up.
10. He doesn't complain (very often).
11. He loves to invent things when he is bored. I love to see his new creations. Most of them make me laugh.
12. He loves hanging out at Gramma's house with his cousins.
13. He is respectful, gentle and loving towards his mom.
14. He is an awesome wakeboarding! He loves going to lake with his dad!
15. He has set high goals for himself and is determined to do great things with his life. He is a great example to me - and his sisters.

Rick bought him a very nice paint pellet gun. Oh no. He is going on an "outing" this weekend with Rick and my brothers. I don't know who I fear for the most... Bryton, Rick - or my brothers.

**ALERT** Name CHANGE

There are *2* Dylin's in Dylin's Kindergarten Class - no suprise, the other one is a boy. When Ms. Jacobson called "Dylin", they both stood up or raised their hands. It was making MY Dylin crazy! Ms. Jacobson asked Dylin what they should do and she replied, "Call me Gwendylin". So there you have it - Gwendylin at school because there are two Dylin's, but Dylin at home because there is only one Dylin at home.
These are her instructions.

a quiet home

It's kind of a weird thing - and great at the same time.
**doing happy dance**
Dylin decided to wear the socks - something she went back and forth on all morning. She starts school at 12:15 but was ready by 9:30 and was SO mad it wasn't time yet!

Her backpack is as big as she it. She is the smallest in her class.

Rylee went to bed at 7pm last night - and was up at the crack of schmack...maybe earlier. 6am she wakes me up to do her hair. School doesn't start until 8:50. I dropped her off. She didn't want me to walk her to class or wait with her before the gate opened. Little Miss Independant! (note the jeans and sweater/shirt - I couldn't get her to change her mind!)

Mykee tried on five outfits last night and this is not the one she chose for today. But who am I to judge? I change my mind at least four times when I'm getting dressed!

**documenting lyndee's curly hair**

Bryton would NOT let me take a picture of him this morning. Someday he'll look back and be sad about it. (who am I kidding)

Man Card

Pierce Bronson has lost his man card.
If you want to go see Mama Mia - take me with you!
I haven't laughed that hard in a VERY long time.
Thank goodness I was sitting down while I was laughing, otherwise I would have pee'd my pants.

4 kids - 3 schools - 1 at home (for now)

Well the day has come. And I am SO excited!
Bryton starts High School tomorrow morning. CRAZY. Am I really that old? He's taking VERY hard classes and is also on the JV Football team. He loves it! I love that he has something to look forward to and has to work hard.
Mykee is in Jr High/Middle School - which is at the same school Rylee will be at. Rylee is nervous to start 1st grade. She's going to do great.
Dylin will be at a different school to do 1/2 kindergarten - there are only 10 kids in her class and I think she's going to learn SO much!
So - for 3 hours a day, it's me and Lyndee... for about 3 months, anyway. And then comes BABY JAYSON (name of the moment).
I can't believe in 6 years I will be alone all day. I'll have to get a dog.

Are you reading....

This has been a hard weekend. Breaking Dawn came out and I've been counting the days until I could get my hands on it! And I didn't do it!!! I've had ALL summer to read The Count of Monte Cristo (abridged - 1462 pages - old world style writing). I picked it up several times attempting to start it, but I couldn't get into it. I had too hard of a time separating the movie from the book. But everyone that has seen me carrying it around, or it sitting on my kitchen counter has told me they've read it and how great it is. Fine. I finally opened it up and got past the third page and now I can't put it down. My goal is to have it finished before Book Club (I have no idea when it is this month). I didn't go out at midnight Friday night to get Breaking Dawn. I know myself better and I didn't need the temptation.
