Two of the gifts for the baby have become the property of others in the family. Lyndee thinks the Elmo Towel is hers and Rick has adopted the fuzzy brown/silky blue blanket that Melissa B made. Ha ha ha :)

Baby Shower
Melissa (BFF) threw me the BEST of the BESTEST baby showers on Saturday! Her house was decorated so dang cute! Thank you Melissa! It was such a fun time. So many of the people I love dearly came and I was extremely touched by the generosity everyone showed. I am very lucky to have wonderful and caring friends. I had butterflies in my tummy before the shower started, afraid no one would come. I mean... this IS baby number 6! Thank you to EVERYONE who came. I totally scored! I don't have a single excuse to run to the mall to get things for this little guy. (name TBD ---Rick isn't sold on what me and the kids have been calling him for the last four months) I have blue clothes and blankets coming out the wazoo!!! Yea for us!!!!!

Breaking Dawn
After reading "The Count of Monte Cristo" and "3 Cups of Tea"... I finally have found time to start and finish Breaking Dawn.
I'm disappointed.
I didn't love it.

Big Day
So Dylin comes into my bathroom the other day and says, "Mom! I want to get my ears pierced!"
The rule in our home is this: The girls can get their ears pierced when they are old enough to ask for it, otherwise, I'd have them done when they are babies. This is a compromise between Rick and I. He'd rather wait until they are older.
The same day she asked for them, Rick and I took her to get them pierced. She only cried for 30 seconds. And since then, she is SO careful with them. She is very concerned about her hair getting tangled in the earrings - or her shirts ripping them out of her ear when she changes clothes. She is really good about making sure we clean them every day.
She's most excited to be able to change them on her Birthday!! Yea Dylin!!
