We will RULE THE SCHOOL!!!

This week was Student Council Election Week... Bryton and his friend, Adam, campaigned for Student Body Treasurer. They ran against Adam's brother and his friend!!! I'm not sure how much Bryton and Adam thought it through - but they ended up pulling some magic out of their heads and WON!!! I'm not sure they really had a slogan - they just said 'VOTE FOR US'. HA. Mykee, on the other hand, thought out everything from her speech - to her campaign - to her "outfits". We made her a sash (the Miss America kind) w/ my sewing machine (don't laugh) that said "Mykee for 6th Grade Rep". She also handed out Starburst candies w/ a sticker attached that said "Vote Mykalin Lee - 6th Grade Rep - She's a BURST of ENERGY"... she gave a GREAT speech in front of the entire 5th, 6th and 7th grades and WON!!! With both older kids on Student Council, me as PTO President and Rylee ruling the Kindergarten next year... our family will RULE THE SCHOOL!!!

To celebrate, Bryton asked if he could have a few friends over to swim and watch the Suns Game (poor Suns)... next thing I knew --- 20 teenagers were "hangin" around!! Mykee loved it!!! Rylee and Dylin enjoyed the benifits of a party (Ding Dongs, soda, chips, Zingers, M&M's)... Lyndee got passed around!! (Notice the metal in both Bryton and Mykee's mouths).

This might seem funny - but I sat down and sewed this minky-blanky this afternoon WHILE I was watching 4 extra cute little girls... it turned out SO cute!!! Lyndee attached herself to it right away!!!

Daughters and Bears

I (crazy) took Rylee and Dylin and Lyndee to lunch w/ me to see friend I haven't seen in a REALLY long time!!! And I am SO bumbed I didn't get a picture of Niki w/ my girls!!! It was great to see her and hear how life is treating her. I miss her tons and wish we lived closer! After lunch, I took the girls into the mall - and let them give their Build-A-Bears a bath...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK!!!!!!

I love my husband. He is a wonderful man. He spoke in church w/ Mykee today - for Mother's Day. They both did an amazing job. I am thankful for all the "mothers" in my life that helped me get to where I am.... I get to be MOM and FRIEND to five (really??? five???) wonderful children.... who help me grow every day.

OUR ATHLETES

Bryton played Soccer for our school this year. Our school is only 2 years old and has not been able to dominate in any of their sports teams... until NOW!!! Bryton helped our 7/8th team win the District Championship game vs. Coronado (undefeated... well not anymore). *3* cheers for BRYTON!!

Mykee tried out for the Hershey's Track Meet and got 2nd place in the 200m dash... which qualifed her to represent Higley School District at the District meet this past Saturday. She ran SO SO fast!!! Great job Mykee!!!

IT'S LAKE SEASON!!!

We took the boat out to make sure we knew what we are doing! Rick was the BOAT MASTER!!! Bryton was the WAKE BOARD KING!! Mykee RULED THE KNEEDBOARD!! And Rylee and Dylin were scared to death... something they are going to have to get used to! We are excited to spend time with our friends and family on the lake this summer.
